I started collecting coins as a kid, so you could say my education and business started there.
Everything I'm involved in - horses, the NRDC, cars, the Yankees - are all personal passions. All of them have led me to meet interesting people. Life is about experiences, and you need good people to share them with.

In 1989, I started at Suprior Coin and Stamp in Beverly Hills and then partnered with Glenn in 1997. I love that the coin business is quick and interactive. The people I work with understand the value of a good trade.

A native of Los Angeles, Josh attended Pacific Palisades High School and studied history at UCLA.

MARKETING AND PARTNERSHIPS

My favorite thing about working at Wilshire Coin is that I think of my co‐workers and even some of my customers as family. Wilshire Coin is more than just a coin store to me - it's a Santa Monica institution.

Landon graduated from Syracuse University in 2006 and worked at a major US entertainment company for five years. Now that he's left the corporate world, he brings the principles he learned home to Wilshire Coin. In his spare time you'll find Landon riding his bike around Venice, going to concerts, and making birdies on the golf course.

I studied international relations and Japanese in college. So, yes, I understand what the sushi chefs are saying! More importantly, that education combined with collecting stamps as a kid really drew me to the coin business. Plus I'm a stickler for details.

John is a big Yankees fan and quite an adventurer. On his days off, he's traveling all over California to camp, fish, ski, snowboard, and skydive. While at work he is constantly being bugged by Tom Maynard.

I've always dreamed of working at Wilshire Coin. I can't believe my dreams came true!

As a recent transplant to Santa Monica from Boca Raton, FL, Justin enjoys riding his bike and hanging out at the beach. He can be seen at local sports bars rooting for the New York Knicks.

Coins tell us about our history. The coins themselves have transformed, but I find the details and events behind them much more interesting. They reveal how we got to where we are today. On top of that, our customers have their own stories that add another layer of meaning.

Tom was a history major at Moorpark College and has been at Wilshire Coin since 2000. While at work he enjoys playing pranks on John Green.

I answered the WC job posting on Craigslist 5 years ago and have learned the ins and outs of this place since day one. I've done everything - admin, stocking, shipping, research, and now retail. Working in the store has been the best part because the customers bring in such cool stuff.

Originally from Palm Springs, Zeph does anything but stay local. He travels the world - snowboarding in Austria was his latest adventure!
